The CF7001 fully automatic total phosphorus and total nitrogen analyzer can complete the whole process of total phosphorus and total nitrogen analysis and determination with one click.
Total phosphorus: According to the national standard method "Determination of total phosphorus in water quality - ammonium molybdate spectrophotometry" (GB11893-89), potassium persulfate is automatically added to the water sample as an oxidant to digest the unfiltered water sample and oxidize all the phosphorus contained into orthophosphate. In an acidic medium, orthophosphate reacts with ammonium molybdate to generate phosphomolybdic heteropoly acid in the presence of antimony salt, which is immediately reduced by ascorbic acid to generate a blue complex for colorimetry.
Total nitrogen: According to the national standard method "Determination of total nitrogen in water quality by alkaline potassium persulfate digestion and ultraviolet spectrophotometry" (HJ636-2012), alkaline potassium persulfate is automatically added to the water sample. At 120~124℃, the alkaline potassium persulfate solution converts the nitrogen of nitrogen-containing compounds in the sample into nitrate. The absorbance is measured at wavelengths of 220nm and 275nm by ultraviolet spectrophotometry.
