Biochemical oxygen demand refers to the dissolved oxygen consumed by microorganisms in the biochemical process of decomposing certain oxidizable substances in water, especially decomposing organic matter, under specified conditions. Usually, it means that the water sample is filled with a completely sealed dissolved oxygen bottle and cultured in the dark at (20±1)℃ for 5d±4h or (2+5)d±4h [first cultured in the dark at 0～4℃ for 2d, then cultured in the dark at (20±1)℃ for 5d, that is, cultured for (2+5)d], and the mass concentration of dissolved oxygen in the water sample before and after culture is measured respectively. The difference in the mass concentration of dissolved oxygen before and after culture is used to calculate the amount of dissolved oxygen consumed per liter of sample, expressed in the form of BOD5.
1. Dual temperature control mechanism: It can ensure the coordinated work of refrigeration and heating, and ensure that the temperature in the incubator is automatically and stably controlled at 20℃.
2. High-precision injection pump: Use high-precision imported injection pump for liquid addition to ensure the accuracy of liquid addition.
3. Safe and reliable: The mechanical arm has a needle alarm function. If a mechanical collision occurs during the operation of the instrument, the instrument can automatically stop and alarm. The injection pump has an alarm function, and the pipeline blockage can automatically alarm. The amount of reagents will be prompted before sampling.
4. Automatic dilution function: It can automatically determine the dilution multiples of different water samples, and automatically calculate 3 dilution ratios for automatic dilution and sampling. The equipment can automatically prepare dilution water, and can automatically add 4 kinds of salt solutions to the dilution water, and automatically aerate, so that the oxygen concentration of the solution in the dilution water reaches more than 8mg/L.
5. Automatic aeration function: Before the measurement, the temperature of the sample to be tested reaches (20±2)℃. If the dissolved oxygen concentration in the sample is low, the equipment can automatically aerate, and the aeration time can be customized.
